Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 262

Drusilla listened to Blythe's words, looking at the two kids, and realized that Blythe, indeed, seemed to be complimenting her.

Blythe said, "I'll head down first. What do you want for dinner? I'll have someone prepare it for you."

Drusilla looked at Blythe, a bit surprised. It was only when she had first arrived at the Taylor household that Blythe had been this kind to her.

"Thanks, I'm good with anything."

"Colton, Cormac, what would you like for dinner?"

"Shrimp," Cormac piped up.

Drusilla glanced at him and smiled. Back at home, shrimp was expensive and rarely bought.

But in the Taylor household, the little guy could have whatever he wished for, no questions asked.

Blythe smiled and said, "Alright."

Then she walked out the door!

Drusilla didn't go out in the afternoon.

Colton and Cormac, having nothing else to do, grabbed their tablets and started a live stream, leaving her some time to catch up on her reading.

Around six in the evening, the dinner time, Cybele came up to call her, "Dinner's ready."

Drusilla nodded, "Got it."

Cybele asked, "Feeling better?"

"Yes, I've been fine for a while." Drusilla, having spent the afternoon with the kids, was in a good mood, "How about Verena? She hasn't been glued to her video games all afternoon, has she?"

"Exactly," Cybele sighed. "That kid, why doesn't she get it? If she were more like you, I'd be so relieved. She's not getting any younger, only knows to play games, and doesn't think of finding someone to settle down."

Drusilla chuckled, "Don't worry, it'll happen sooner or later."
