Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 268

Saskia stepped into the room, her eyes scanning the spacious guest chamber of the Taylor mansion. The Taylors were known for their sprawling estate, filled with numerous rooms to accommodate their large family and guests.

"Goodness gracious, their place is just fabulous! Look at that vase, it's got to be worth a fortune," she remarked, her eyes wide with admiration.

Harlan, slightly embarrassed by his mother's awe, gently chided her. "Mom, could you tone it down a bit? It's kind of embarrassing."

Acknowledging her son's request with a nod, Saskia's attention shifted as they were alone. "Is Enoch really that good to Drusilla now? Didn't you say he married her because of his grandfather's wishes?"

"Yes," Harlan replied, his mind replaying the images of Enoch and Drusilla together, their hands intertwined. Initially, Enoch had agreed to the marriage to honor his grandfather's wish, but now... it seemed like they had truly fallen for each other.

Impossible!

How could Enoch possibly fall for someone like her?

After dinner, while Enoch was busy in his study, Drusilla and Verena decided to take the kids for a stroll outside despite the chilly evening air. They ventured into the Taylors' garden, Drusilla wrapping herself in a coat to keep warm.

It wasn't long before they encountered Saskia, who was exploring the garden with a look of fascination. Upon seeing Drusilla, however, her expression soured.
