Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 305

Drusilla clammed up the moment she realized Harlan was just trying to get a laugh out of her. Right then, Harlan picked up a call. After hanging up, he turned to Blythe and said, “Grandma, Uncle Enoch and his crew are about to swing by. I'm gonna go check on him.”

“Go ahead,” Blythe, who could hardly care less about Enoch, was focused solely on her grandson and took Drusilla with her to the rehearsal venue.

Upon arrival, Drusilla spotted two little munchkins dressed in their performance outfits, their faces painted with makeup, as the dance instructor briefed them on the dos and don'ts for the show. Despite the crowd, Drusilla's eyes were instantly drawn to them.

No surprise there – those two inherited Enoch's standout genes, making their tiny faces impossible to miss in the crowd.

Other parents were also present, phones in hand, capturing every moment of their kids in action.

“Mommy,” Cormac beamed at Drusilla, flashing a heart with his fingers.

Seeing this, Drusilla couldn't help but smile. Once the group dispersed, Cormac and Colton rushed over, each hugging one of her legs.

Cormac pouted, “Where did you go this morning? I didn’t see you.”

Drusilla's face flushed with heat, realizing the boys had dropped their usual pretense now that they were out in public.

Just then, Blythe chimed in…

Drusilla quickly diverted, “Say hi to grandma, boys.”

“Hi, grandma,” Cormac turned to Blythe.

“I knew I'd bring your mom over. Look how happy you guys are,” Blythe couldn’t help but think of Verena…

Initially, she wanted to invite Verena for the boys' performance, given she’s their biological mother. However, recalling Verena’s attitude the day before, Blythe didn’t bother making the call.

Hearing Blythe’s words, Cormac declared, “We love you most, grandma!”

“All set and ready to go. No worries here,” they assured him.

“Good to hear,” Derek responded.

Enoch, making a rare public appearance, was less known compared to the more visible Harlan and Derek, recognized as executives of the Larkin Group.

As Enoch, seated in his wheelchair, slightly lifted his head, he spotted Drusilla sitting with Blythe in the audience section. The real audience hadn’t arrived yet; they were merely sitting there temporarily.

Drusilla, who had noticed Enoch the moment he entered, couldn’t take her eyes off him.

But when Enoch’s gaze met hers, she was momentarily taken aback.

Seated in his wheelchair, Enoch glanced at her and indifferently shifted his gaze away, treating her as if she was a stranger with no connection to him.
