Drusilla had just finished chatting with Hestia upstairs and was now descending the staircase, where her father, Leander, was waiting for her. "Dad," she greeted him warmly.

Hestia trailed closely behind Drusilla.

Leander turned to his daughter, "Are we heading to pick up the kids now?"

Drusilla nodded, "Yeah, it's about that time. Let's get going."

She helped Leander out of the house, where the driver was already parked out front, ready to go. Hestia stood by the door, waving them off. Knowing Drusilla's plans to visit the Taylor family, she felt reassured.

As soon as they were out of sight, Hestia dialed Odette. "I've got Drusilla sorted out, don't worry."

Odette sounded surprised on the other end. "How did you manage that?"

"I gave her kids the deed to the Nordragon house, put it in their names. That sealed the deal."

"That easy?" Odette questioned.

"She's a bit naive, isn't she?" Hestia chuckled. "Relax, once Leander calms down in a few days, you can come home. No matter what, Mom won’t let you end up with Enoch."

"Alright."

In the car, Drusilla watched her father with concern. "Dad, are you feeling okay? Keeping up with your check-ups?"

"Yes, I am," Leander assured her. "I'm fine, no need to worry."

"Just try not to stress too much, okay? Let go of what you can at work. Health is what really counts, remember?"

Drusilla smiled, not arguing back immediately. The car soon arrived at the school, and together, they went to pick up the children.

Colton and Cormac emerged with their backpacks, spotting Drusilla. "Mom!"

Leander stood beside Drusilla, eyes widening in disbelief as he observed the kids. He had met Enoch before, and the resemblance was uncanny.

He turned to Drusilla, bewildered. "What's going on here?"

Drusilla anticipated her father's reaction. She had brought him along to tell him the truth.
