Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 367

Oberon strolled over, glancing at the two kids, and said, "Young Master, how about we head upstairs and play?"

Colton and Cormac exchanged a quick look with Drusilla, who nodded, "Go on."

With her approval, the two little ones got up and followed Oberon out of the living room.

Once the kids were gone, Enoch's gaze settled on Drusilla. "Didn't I tell you? Since you decided to leave with your father, you shouldn't have come back!"

Though, if she truly hadn't returned, he wouldn't have just left it at that.

But right now, he couldn't help but say something spiteful to her.

She had ignored him, after all!

He had spent the entire day thinking, worrying about the possibility of Drusilla leaving for good. What would he do then?

Would he have to go crawling back to her?

The thought alone was enough to irritate him.

His pride screamed that he couldn't just throw away his dignity for a woman!

She wasn't some goddess, after all. She didn't deserve it!

Drusilla found his words laughable.

She turned to look at Enoch, always aware of the gulf between them. He could decide the fate of her entire family with just a flick of his wrist, determine the future of the Lawson family.

To protect her family, she had no choice but to appease him, humor him...

No matter how unwilling she was, she had to endure in front of him.

This was the unbridgeable gap between her and Enoch.

At that moment, she looked at him and said, "In that case, let's get a divorce."

"What did you say?" Enoch was momentarily taken aback by the word "divorce."

He had said those things hoping she'd apologize, come over and soothe him.

But instead, she had outright suggested a divorce?

Was it her father who gave her this courage?

Was she really ready to disregard her family's future?

This wasn't like Drusilla at all!

Upstairs, Drusilla saw the two kids were already in their room. She stood at the door, watching Oberon play with them.

Sensing her presence, Oberon looked up, "Ma'am."

Drusilla didn't move, and Oberon stepped out, "You finished talking with Mr. Taylor?"

Drusilla said, "I'm divorcing him. Get the papers ready. You can handle that, can't you?"

Oberon had handled their marriage contract after all.

Now, it seemed fitting for him to handle the divorce too.

Upon hearing about the divorce, Oberon said, "Mr. Taylor won't agree to it."

Which meant he wouldn't prepare the papers.

Drusilla smirked, "So, even this small task needs me to step in?"

Oberon looked at Drusilla, "Ma'am, Mr. Taylor waited all day for your call. He's upset, but he still cares about you. Leaving him here alone got him a bit riled up; that's why he's acting this way."
