Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 375

No matter how much the kids liked her, Drusilla couldn't just make a joke out of them!

"I'll take them to school," Drusilla offered.

Blythe glanced at the clock. "There's still time, Colton, Cormac. Finish your breakfast first."

"I'm full," Cormac declared, pushing his plate away.

Blythe wasn't fooled. Just moments ago, Cormac was eating with genuine enthusiasm. How could he be full now?

Colton, staying silent, moved next to Drusilla and took her hand.

These little rascals seemed to be on Team Drusilla.

"Don't worry, there's plenty of time," Blythe coaxed. "Grandma will take you to school herself."

But no matter what she said, the two boys only had ears for Drusilla, leaving Blythe in an awkward spot.

"Enoch, look at your sons!" Blythe exclaimed in exasperation, turning to her own son for support.

Enoch glanced over at Drusilla, then calmly suggested, "Go ahead, take the kids to school."

Drusilla was surprised. She thought he would insist on the kids staying behind.

Unexpectedly, he was letting her take them.

Especially after what she had said to him earlier!

She shot him a look, then turned and walked out the door with Colton and Cormac in tow.

Blythe watched them leave, feeling a migraine coming on. She turned to Enoch. "Why did you just let her take the kids?"

Enoch then shifted his focus to Kendrick. "Brother, did you do something to Drusilla?"

His voice was steady, as if he was just having a casual conversation, but both Blythe and Kendrick paused at his words.

He had been upset about her going back to her father, but hadn’t realized things had escalated this way!

Drusilla's affairs had always been his to handle.

Even though he always said he wouldn't let them off lightly, he had been lenient with the Lawsons because of Drusilla.

After all, that's why she married him in the first place.

But now...

Kendrick's meddling had disrupted the delicate balance of his and Drusilla's arrangement.

Seeing Enoch's frown, Kendrick decided to push further. "Enoch, that family doesn’t deserve your kindness! You were too soft on them. We should have bankrupted them from the start. Look at what they've brought into your life! Drusilla's connection to Harlan alone should be reason enough to get her out of here! But since you're divorcing her anyway, I won't say more."

"No!" Blythe interjected firmly. "You can't get a divorce."

Her words took Kendrick by surprise. He hadn’t expected Blythe to be the first to oppose the idea.
