Drusilla clenched her fists, her voice shaking with anger. "See the bruise on my dad's head? You don't really think it was just some random thugs, do you? My dad might believe that, but... it was Kendrick who ordered it."
Serge was taken aback. "Kendrick? Seriously?"
Drusilla let out a bitter laugh. "You heard about yesterday’s drama with Lilith, right?"

Drusilla nodded. "It’s not a bad idea."
"If you do that, the Taylors will go nuts."
Serge didn’t know whether to pity Enoch or not, but he understood Drusilla’s perspective.
As they chatted in the living room, they heard voices at the door—it was Hestia! She came back from grocery shopping, with Enoch and Oberon in tow.
Hestia warmly ushered them inside. Upon seeing Drusilla, she announced, "Drusilla, Enoch’s here."
Enoch, dressed in a suit and seated in a wheelchair, looked quite stern. He glanced at Drusilla as he entered. She had stormed off earlier, and he figured she would be here. He had intended to check on her, but...
