Aveline’s voice was still cold. “Why don’t you go ask Xavier if he has any shame before you come asking me.”

Aveline touched her stomach, wondering if she should ask Fiona to go with her to the hospital for a check–up.

Fiona: “Don’t be stupid. You have to take the shares. As long as you’re determined to get a divorce, you’ll get one. What does it matter if it takes a little longer? It’s not like you’re marrying someone else tomorrow.”

Aveline was annoyed. She considered talking to Xavier herself, but she was afraid he would misunderstand her inten- tions.

“Hmph, of course I told her the face is pixelated, so how can you just say it’s Aveline and expect me to believe it?”
