Urging Him to Get a Divorce (Aveline and Xavier) novel Chapter 680

It turned out that Valentina had already drunk a lot of water at the kidsplay area, and then had a lot of her favorite Sweet Corn Drink in the private dining room, so she needed to use the

restroom.

Aveline happened to need to go too, so she took Valentina out for Brielle.

But as soon as they left the private dining room, sharpeyed Valentina spotted Xavier coming out of another one down the hall and said:

Auntie. Uncle is over there.

Aveline looked over and saw Josephine rush out of the private dining room to grab Xavier, witnessing their struggle.

She also heard what Josephine had shouted.

The words were filled with a vague, intimate meaning.

Aveline’s heart went cold. It was just as she’d thoughtall of Xavier’s sweet talk was bullshit. Thank goodness she’d already decided on a divorce and hadn’t wasted time wondering whether to believe him; she’d dismissed it all as crap.

But she was only human, with feelings and desires. Seeing Xavier and Josephine come out of the same private dining room and get into a struggle like that, she couldn’t possibly remain unaffected.

Of course, she felt a complex mix of strange emotions.

Valentina asked curiously, Auntie, what’s wrong with Uncle and Josie?

Is Josie crying?

Aveline took Valentina’s hand. Don’t worry about them. Let’s go to the restroom.

So, Aveline and Valentina started walking in Xavier’s direction, because the restroom was over there.

When Xavier saw them walking over hand in hand, his expression immediately softened.

As they got closer, he called out, Aveline

of a child

Valentina looked up at him and mumbled, Uncle, did you have a fight with Josie?

Xavier’s face immediately darkened, but when he noticed Valentina was still looking at him, he quickly wiped the ugly expression away.

We weren’t fighting. It was, um, yes, we were fighting.

Xavier figured that saying they were fighting was the casiest way for a child to understand.

Aveline, holding Valentina’s hand, walked right past him without a single glance.

Xavier quickly turned and followed them. Are you going to the restroom?

Aveline didn’t answer him, but Valentina did. “Yes.

Xavier was afraid Josephine would say something reckless to Aveline, so he followed them.

Although Josephine was still sitting on the floor, crying with her face in her hands, she was actually peeking through her fingers. She saw Aveline and Valentina walk past, with Xavier following as if to protect them.

While fakecrying, Josephine angrily gritted her teeth.

As Aveline walked past her, she said spitefully, He’s a heartless bastard. You won’t come to a good end by his side either.

With Valentina by her side, Aveline didn’t talk back; she just ignored it as Josephine wallowing in selfpity.

Xavier shot Josephine a cold glare.

Hearing his footsteps approach, Josephine dropped her hands and looked up at him, her face a mask of resentment and sorrow.

Xavier looked away, following closely behind Aveline and Valentina. He saw them into the restroom and then waited outside.

Josephine got up, let out a few sobs, and walked over, also heading for the restroom.

Xavier said coldly, Stay away from them.

Josephine glared at him, Mr. Beltran, am I not allowed to use the restroom? Do you own this club?

Aveline turned around to look, not wanting Valentina’s uncle, Xavier, to make a fool of himself. so she said

Honestly, it’s a public restroom. Who’s going to stop you from coming in? Are you paranoid or something

It was obvious she was telling Xavier not to stop her

Xavier didn’t say anything, so Josephine entered the restroom with a cold expression.

Aveline helped Valentina into a stall. When she came out, Josephine was at the sink washing her face, as if trying to wash away her tear stains.

Aveline waited for Valentina to come out, helped her wash her hands, and then said to her, Go find your uncle outside.

Valentina said okay and walked out.

Aveline went into a stall. She could hear the sound of running water from outside, as if Josephine couldn’t wash her face enough, trying to scrub a layer of skin off.

Aveline came out of the stall and walked to the sink. She saw Josephine standing by the sink, no longer washing her face, but letting the water run from the faucet.

And she was staring at Aveline with a cold, dark look in her eyes.
