Urging Him to Get a Divorce (Aveline and Xavier) novel Chapter 757

**TITLE: A Divorce 757**
**Chapter 757**

Xavier stood there, a myriad of emotions swirling within him, and shook his head with a mix of helplessness and bitter amusement. He bent down, his fingers brushing against the cool surface of his phone, and lifted it to inspect it closely. To his surprise, there wasn’t a single crack on the screen. It appeared that she hadn’t exerted much force after all.

However, the fleeting relief in his expression quickly morphed into a frosty demeanor. With a determined push, he directed his suitcase toward a different bedroom, each movement echoing the turmoil within him.

Once he entered the room, he felt an urgent need to act. He swiftly typed a message to Amy: *[Find out who bought this villa, and for whom.]* He followed this with a photo, capturing the essence of his inquiry.

Meanwhile, Miranda had been anxiously seeking a moment to speak with Aveline. However, with Xavier occupying her room, her worries only deepened. Perhaps it was best to wait until the morning, she thought, but the sight of Collin still troubled by thoughts of Jacob nagged at her.

She had initially assumed that Xavier would settle into Aveline’s room for the night, but when he emerged and headed into another bedroom, a sense of urgency propelled Miranda to knock on Aveline’s door.

Aveline, just moments away from stepping into a warm shower, paused at the sound of a knock. Assuming it was Xavier, she remained silent, not wanting to disrupt the moment.

“Aveline, are you asleep?” Miranda’s voice broke through the quiet.

Realizing it was Miranda, Aveline hurriedly opened the door, her brow furrowing in concern. “I was just about to take a shower. What’s wrong?”

“I have something important to tell you,” Miranda replied, her tone serious.

Aveline stepped aside, allowing Miranda to enter the room.

“Aveline, before you and Mr. Beltran headed to the private dining room for dinner, your father called Collin,” Miranda said, her voice laced with urgency.

“What? What did he say to Collin?” Aveline’s heart raced at the implications.

“I don’t know the details; Collin wouldn’t share. But look at the time—the light in Collin and Paulina’s bedroom is still on. They’re likely not asleep, probably still fretting over this.”

Aveline glanced at the clock on her wall. It was nearing ten o’clock, and she knew her maternal grandparents typically retired by nine-thirty at the latest.

“I’ll go ask them,” she declared, her resolve strengthening.

Miranda nodded in agreement. “Yes, you should definitely talk to Collin and Paulina. They might need your support to ease their minds.”

With purpose, Aveline made her way towards her grandparents’ room. As she passed Xavier’s door, she noticed it was ajar. Hearing her footsteps, he emerged, curiosity etched on his face.
