Therefore, the incident outside the restroom was likely a misunderstanding.

On Friday morning, shortly after Ashley woke up, her grandmother called, inviting her to Vincent Adler’s art exhibition on Sunday. Amanda was a devoted fan of Vincent, the renowned painter. His last exhibition was over a decade ago. Ashley readily agreed.”Okay, Grandma, I’ll go with you.”
As soon as she hung up, Sam called. This was his first call since the parent-teacher event. Ashley didn’t answer.
Ashley went to Amanda’s for dinner on Saturday.
Sunday morning, Ashley and Amanda set off for the exhibition. Upon arrival, she saw Tim’s car pulling in. She was surprised. Tim?”
Tim was equally surprised to see them.”Wow, you’re here for the exhibition?”
Yes, Ashley replied.
Amanda chuckled. Tim, I didn’t know you were interested in painting.”
Tim explained, “I’m not. I’m delivering a gift on behalf of my family…”
Vincent was a celebrated master of painting, and his family was prominent. Every exhibition attracted a throng of people hoping to network. The gifts alone were rumored to be worth tens of millions, though the Adlers didn’t care about the money. Vincent hadn’t held an exhibition in over a decade.
The Reeds didn’t need to curry favor with the Adlers. While their families’ interactions had become less frequent, the older generations maintained a good relationship.
Tim’s father wasn’t interested in attending, but he sent Tim to deliver a congratulatory gift. To Tim’s surprise, he ran into Ashley and her grandmother
here.
Tim had anticipated a massive crowd. Chase, Tanya, and the Monds might be there, too. Ashley was still young when Vincent held his last exhibition,
so she knew little about him.
Seeing Tim’s worried expression, Ashley asked, “What’s wrong?”
Tim smiled. “Nothing. Wait for me; I’ll park, and we’ll go in together.”
“Okay.”
After parking, they entered the exhibition hall. As Tim had anticipated, the three-story building was packed. However, before they could properly view the art or meet the Adlers, they encountered the Monds and Holdens.
Miranda and Mary were there, chatting animatedly. They weren’t surprised to see them. They knew Amanda admired Vincent, and that she wouldn’t miss this opportunity.
Ashley gripped her grandmother’s arm. Amanda patted her hand reassuringly.”It’s alright.” She had seen this coming.
Tim said, ‘Mrs. Jones, I’ll find Mr. Vincent Adler, Come with me.” He was offering to introduce her to Vincent.
Amanda shook her head. I’m quite content having had the chance to see so many of his works at once. I don’t want to cause him any trouble.”
Tim gave up, but he was still worried about them, especially with the Monds and Holdens present.
Ashley said,’Go ahead. Don’t worry about us.” The Monds and Holdens valued their image and wouldn’t cause a scene here.
Tim left. Ashley asked Amanda, “Grandma, which painting do you want to see first?”
Her grandmother smiled. Let’s start with the closest.”
Ashley agreed.
