Madison's eyes reddened a little as she reflected inwardly, but she kept her expression neutral while talking to Kaitlyn.

"So much has happened these past couple of days that I forgot about it for a moment. Now that you've mentioned it, I remember it now."

"Oh, that's good. Everyone's going to be green with envy when you and Johnny announce your wedding at the reunion. Just the thought of going from school uniforms to wedding attire is super romantic."

She spoke with admiration, but a closer look revealed the jealousy in her eyes.

Madison's gaze turned increasingly icy as Kaitlyn dragged Sam into the conversation.

She snorted coldly. "Kaitlyn, Johnny, have you already forgotten what you did when it's only been less than two days?"

Johnny and Kaitlyn went rigid at her words. Soon, their frustration showed on their faces.

Kaitlyn frowned. "But we already apologized, didn't we?"

Madison gave a shallow smile.

"You did apologize, but I haven't fully forgiven you yet. Besides, if apologies were enough, why would we even need the police? Also, marriage is a serious matter. Wouldn't it need careful consideration?"

Johnny and Kaitlyn were left speechless.

Just then, the sales assistant approached Madison with shopping bags. "Miss, all your items are ready. The total is 521 thousand dollars."

"Alright. I'll pay now."

Madison handed over her own bank card this time instead of making the shameless pair pay. Why? Because she found them disgusting and didn't want them to touch the items.
