To Athena’s surprise, Tyler didn’t say a single word through the entire confrontation.
Grandma Edith stood up, intent on following her out.
“Athena, is there really no room to discuss this? We’re family. Surely we can talk it through.”
Marlon gently supported Grandma Edith, his expression softening as he looked at Athena.
“Yeah, sis, stay for a while, will you? Grandma’s been so worried about you. Even if you don’t like the Keller family, can’t you at least do it for her and have a real conversation with us?”
Athena stopped in her tracks. Tyler was gripping her hand so tightly it felt like he might crush her bones.
She frowned, trying to shake him off, but his grip only tightened.
Every instinct screamed at her—Tyler was dangerous right now.
Grandma Edith continued, her voice pleading, “Athena, we were wrong before. We thought that once your identity was clear, we could finally be a family again. I forgot how much you’ve been through—how much it’s changed you. At least let us try to make amends. I’ll have Marlon look out for you more from now on. You two haven’t seen each other in years, can’t you at least talk?”
Athena didn’t turn around. Her voice remained calm.
“Grandma Edith, I’m sorry. This is just… all too much for me today. I need to go home and rest. Let’s talk about the rest another time.”
“Of course, dear. You’re still recovering. Go get some rest.”
Tyler practically dragged her out. Once they were alone in the car, he suddenly seized her by the throat.
Athena’s cheeks flushed red as she struggled for breath, but she said nothing—she just stared at him.
His eyes were bloodshot with fury, but he didn’t let go.

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
