Athena arched an eyebrow. “Can I help you? If you’re looking for Tyler, he’s not here today.”
Tyler had left early that morning, off on some errand no one seemed to know about.
“I’m here for you, sis. Are you really not coming back to the Keller family? Grandma was so upset this morning she nearly fainted.”
Marlon had never been much for propriety—calling her “sis” without a hint of embarrassment, no matter the situation.
Athena, on the other hand, looked a little uncomfortable. A crease appeared between her brows. “Don’t call me that.”
Marlon slid onto the bench beside her, his eyes drifting over to the garden, where the flowers were in full bloom. Somehow, he thought Athena fit perfectly among them.
Out of nowhere, a memory flashed through his mind—the humiliating moment when someone had yanked down his pants. He shifted, suddenly uneasy.
“So what should I call you, then?”
Marlon’s features were handsome, with sharp brows and a scar slicing through the corner of one eye, giving him a rugged edge. His skin was a healthy bronze, and when he played up his charm, he looked almost exotic.
“Just use my name.”
“But Grandma said I shouldn’t.”
His gaze never left her as he stood and moved closer, a sly smile curling his lips.
“Are you staying away from the Olson family because of Maggie? I’ve already made it clear to everyone—Maggie and I have nothing to do with each other anymore. That chapter is closed.”
“It’s partly because of her,” Athena replied, her voice cool, “but there are other reasons too.”
“Like what? Are you worried the rest of the Keller family won’t accept you? Don’t worry, I’ll deal with them for you.”

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
