Marlon slid a glass of whiskey over to Tyler, giving him a knowing look. "Look, even though you two are hitched, she's still one of the Kellers. Plus, she's been warming up lately, willing to spend time with her Grammy. What's got you so worked up? You think someone's messing with her?"
Tyler downed his drink, leaning back with an air of relaxation. "What about Maggie? What's your plan there?"
"Well, I thought about shipping her overseas, but she gave us the slip. Haven't been able to track her down since."
Tyler raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Your crew that hopeless?"
Marlon had to admit, this was one screw-up he couldn't argue with.
The booze and absence of Athena left Tyler feeling a bit listless, while Marlon's thoughts drifted back to what Murphy had mentioned earlier.
With Athena waiting at home, Marlon found himself restless. He realized that hitting the bar was just his way of dodging reality, avoiding being alone with her, afraid she'd pull some intimate stunt again.
It was a game he started, yet he felt oddly guilty about it, an unsettling guilt he couldn't quite shake.
He tossed back another drink, glancing at Tyler. Honestly, Tyler's looks were top-notch. Plenty of ex-girlfriends to his name. Did Athena ever give him those lingering looks? Did she ever wrap her legs around his waist?
Just the thought of it made Marlon tense.
Slamming his glass down, he grabbed his jacket, ready to head out.
Murphy followed suit, and as they stepped outside, Marlon lit a cigarette.
Murphy, not one for smoking, took a step back. "I'll be leaving Greenfield in a month. If you want me to lift the hypnosis, just give me a buzz."

Author, would you story about Ryan settling down and another story on Eric regaining his body and memories back from Patrick, and Eric also settling down as I find it so disheartening for him to have gone through what he went through at the research institute, and I'll like for him to get his "golden boy" life back though, not at the detriment of Ian....
