From a Wrong Turn to Mr. Right novel Chapter 210

Aileen Ethan Carter

AILEEN’S SECRET ROMANCE EXPOSED!

Ethan Carter, CEO of Carter Group—Mr. Carter Himself!

AILEEN SPOTTED AT HOSPITAL IN ETHAN’S ARMS—IS SHE EXPECTING?

The headlines screamed across Olivia Bennett’s phone, accompanied by a string of blurry paparazzi snaps: a man carrying a woman into a hospital.

Olivia’s grip tightened around her phone, her eyes fixed on the familiar angle of the man’s jaw in the photos. She didn’t need a clear shot—not even a full face. She could recognize Ethan Carter just from the shape of his shoulders, the way he moved.

Her gaze dropped. Something heavy and cold pressed against her chest, making it hard to breathe.

Lavinia Bennett, always on high alert for drama, caught Olivia’s reaction immediately. She clicked her tongue, unable to hide her glee. “What, can’t believe it? Well, you’ve always been good at bluffing. Now that the truth’s out, guess you’ll finally lose that smug act. Face it, you’re not cut out for this world.”

Olivia blinked slowly, forcing her face into a calm mask as she locked her phone and raised her eyes. Her voice was flat. “A few grainy photos don’t prove anything.”

“Keep telling yourself that,” Lavinia shot back, practically glowing with satisfaction. “You look ridiculous trying to save face.”

Lavinia frowned and leaned closer. Every article, every post about Ethan Carter had been wiped clean.

She pulled out her own phone for confirmation. Same thing. Not a single trace left.

A cold little laugh escaped her. “Wow. The Carters don’t mess around, huh? Clean-up crew’s fast.”

She shot Olivia a sly smile. “You should thank me for showing you. Otherwise, you’d have spent your whole life in the dark, thinking you mattered to him.”

She shrugged, her tone faux-sympathetic. “Though honestly, sometimes ignorance is bliss. At least you could’ve kept pretending. Too bad you know now. Sorry, not sorry.”
