King Tiras’s Pov
The dragons breath out fire, lighting up some structures of the palace. Helpless servants run for their lives, some screaming for our help.
Our queen continues sobbing like a child. It doesn’t make sense. She was so proud of her ability to control the dragons last time the dragons attacked. So how comes she is acting this way now?
Unless she did actually lie. She seemed to panic when we told her about our plan to turn dragons into our formidable army last night. She tried to discourage us because she knew she cannot control them. So who controlled them that day?
Adon blinds two of the dragons with his illusions and they crash against the palace’s tallest towers. The people that were inside fall with the rubble and get crashed by the weight of the dragons.
We have to fight them with our powers just like before. Luckily they are not that many today. But their behaviour appears strange. It’s the first time they are attacking our palace and not any other place. They seem more focused on wrecking the place and causing terror a lot more than they are chasing and mauling people. It’s like they are following some orders.
My powers are not very effective when it comes to fighting dragons. But not if I hit a single one with half a dozen lightening bolts, which would be enough to damage it’s thick skin. I do so and the giant reptile bursts into a thousand flaming pieces after the last bolt hits it.

Ira’s Pov
Linda suddenly burst into my guest room like a crazy woman.
“Come out now! The palace is under dragon attack!” she screams.
I wasn’t expecting such good news today. I wonder how my arrogant mates are faring with the help of their pretentious queen. How wi she explain her inability to control the dragons now?
I know they will never regret the pain or humiliation they have caused me. But it’s satisfying to hear that the rogue dragons have attacked their palace again. They deserve to suffer the humiliation.
“Ira! You’re just going to sit there?” Linda shouts. “Come upstairs!” she runs back out.
I set aside the book I was reading and follow her to Lior’s room upstairs which has a massive window facing the direction of the palace.
Half a dozen rogue dragons are flying low above the palace, diving down now and then to breath fire into the magnificent structures. I can hear screams of horror, just like the last time they attacked.
“Stop them before they burn everything. This is your chance to prove that you’re the one with the gift,” Linda urges.
“No. This is my turn to watch the residents of that palace suffer, just like they watched me get whipped for a crime I had not committed,” I state.
I noticed that not even the servants felt sorry for me. They were all smiles when the angel kings rudely rejected me in front of a multitude of gueats after forcing me to look a crazy, dirty human. I am not saving evil people. I do not want anyone knowing about my ability to control the dragons. Who knows what the angel kings would do to me if they find out.
He steps closer and hugs me.

Angel Ronen’s Pov
Our Queen’s dragon suddenly rises and I get hope that it will help. But it flies towards us, ready to unleash it’s fire upon us. Our Queen stands and runs.
I surround the dragon with a massive ball of fire long enough for it’s insides to heat up. It explodes right before it reaches us.
The other dragons appears to fly away as if afraid of us. We have won. But that’s only because they were so few. Still they managed to wreck some parts of our palace. And there might be a few servants who have died from the dragons’ fire or the towers that tumbled down together with the dragons that Adon blinded. They are dead because we waited for our Queen to command the dragons instead of fighting them from the start.
“I cannot believe that her dragon attacked us. Where did she go?” Adon demands after noticing her absence.
We sent her father the greatest tribute ever demanded. Controlling the rogue dragons is literally the only reason we married her. She has got a lot of explaining to do.
