Angel Tiras’s Pov
Princess Andria is a living miracle. It is a great luck that she is interested in marrying us without her own conditions. She could ask for half of our wealth and we would still find her worthy. Her exceptional gift will not just protect our kingdom against the rogue dragons, it also granta us power over them, such that we can turn them into our puppets, our own army, and people will marvel at our great might.
We are the most powerful rulers in all lands. It puzzles me why the princess was not mated to us. Instead we got a disrespectful human.
“You do not have to return to your father’s kingdom. We shall send the tribute to your father tomorrow so that he knows we are marrying you,” Ronen says.
“I wouldn’t mind living a century in your palace. It’s beyond opulent. My father won’t mind either as long as he gets his tribute. I will write to him tonight to explain everything,” she replies.
Adon pulls her closer and kisses her smooth cheek. She gives him the most attractive smile. After the ritual is done she will smell like our mate, and we like hers. Then we will send that pathetic human away. She has an outstanding voice, but it will never be as important as Princess Andria’s gift.
“Can I meet your human mate privately?” the Princess surprisingly asks. We all regard her with disapproving looks.
“Why would you want to do that? She is an insane lowlife with no sense of respect. It is best to avoid her like a sickness,” Ronen advises.
“I understand. How can you not expect a commoner to be greatly upset when she was blessed with mates who could change her life only for them to choose another? I just want to make peace with her as my Devine gift depends on my righteous heart, “the Princess replies.
She has a pure heart, which gives me confidence that such a vital gift wasn’t granted to a random woman. It is in the right hands.
“Let me come with you. I have no doubt that the human will be disrespectful,” I offer.
“You think I am incapable of handling a human?” she questions. “My mind is a lot stronger than this beautiful dress makes me look.”
“I didn’t mean to-” I start to apologise but she cuts me short.
“Your mate just needs someone to talk to, your majesty. And she will be unnerved by your presence,” she points.
Guess there is no controlling what she chooses to do. With her smart mind and gifts she might be able to tame the human, I have no doubt.
“Our assistant will guide you to the room she is locked in,” Adon orders.
Lior looks thoughtful for some reason. He hasn’t uttered a word to personally thank Princess Andria for saving this kingdom despite having the chance to do so. It’s so unlike him to act ungrateful.
He only nods at Adon’s orders and gestures at the Princess to follow him.

Ira’s Pov
I was brought back into the servant room that the angel kings had me locked in earlier. It is an insult considering the fact that I just saved their palace and kingdom from the worst dragon attack yet.
But there is hope since they will now want to transfer the mate bond as soon as possible. I will be at liberty to leave and search for my father.
The door opens and the most unexpected person saunters in. Princess Aria, still in the beautiful dress and shoes she was wearing while running from the dragons, studies the room with a frown as she makes her way in. The assistant of the angel kings walks in behind her.
A servant? She must think she is a precious diamond that I would enjoy taking care of. She asks for such a huge favour yet offers nothing of value in return. Besides I do not desire to stay in this harsh place longer than I have to.
“I do not seek a job from you or the angel Kings. Once they pay me for my performance I will be on my way off. I am certain that you can charm the rogue dragons with your beauty and grace,” I say.
The Princess appears to be getting furious as she takes one more step closer. “You want to leave because you know that the angel kings will look for you as soon as they realise that you’re the one with the gift. You think I am a fool to let that happen?” she snarls in rage.
“You will never have my gift I do not think you have the -” I start to point but she cuts me off.
“I would rather you die than watch them chase after a pathetic human. You should have taken the job I offered. Because now I will make them kill you like a dog!” she hisses before turning to leave.

Angel Adon’s Pov
The Princess was only gone for a short while, yet she stumbles back into our living room with a torn dress, tears running down her cheeks and a missing necklace.
“The stupid human tried to kill me!” she cries.
Lior walks in behind her with a shocked expression like it was not his job to protect her. I hope for his sake that he has killed the stupid human.
