Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 561

A blast of cold air rushed in, catching Amelia so off guard she started coughing. George, the one who caused it all, just stayed calm as ever. He twisted open a water bottle and handed it to her, acting like he was being thoughtful.

Amelia glared at him and ignored the offer.

George didn’t seem bothered at all. He just took a drink himself.

About half an hour later, the car finally stopped.

The door opened and, to her surprise, Paxton was waiting outside. He gave Amelia a polite nod.

“Ms. Sadinton, this way please,” Paxton said.

Amelia got out and realized the car had brought her straight to Willow Court, where Ryan lived.

Suddenly, she heard noises behind her.

She turned and froze for a moment at what she saw.

Two men in black pulled a wheelchair from the backseat. Paxton opened a built-in handle from the car door, and with their help, George moved easily from the car seat into the chair.

So the Packman family’s most mysterious and youngest heir was… actually in a wheelchair?

Amelia looked away quickly.

After what he’d just done to her, she wasn’t about to waste any sympathy on George.

Once she was gone, George nodded for Dr. Phil to continue.

“Mr. Packman, Ryan’s injuries are really serious. If we keep drawing blood like before, I’m worried he won’t make it through the month. Maybe we could reduce the amount a bit?” Dr. Phil watched George’s face, clearly nervous.

George spun the jade ring on his thumb, a faint smile playing on his lips.

“You’re truly a doctor with a conscience, Dr. Phil. But have you forgotten…” George looked up, his eyes suddenly cold and sharp. “I’m the one who pays your salary.”

Dr. Phil swallowed. “Of course, Mr. Packman. It’s only a suggestion. I’m just concerned that if we take too much, Ryan’s body won’t handle it. He could relapse, like when he lost his will to live before…”

“You don’t need to worry about that.” George smiled slowly, glancing toward where Amelia had disappeared. His voice was calm and cool. “I’ve already brought him the best medicine there is.”
