Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 613

Clive didn’t take Ryan seriously.

He stood up with a mocking smile. “I call you Mr. Ryan Packman and you actually believe you’re a real member of the Packman family? Don’t kid yourself. You’re just George’s blood bag, an illegitimate nobody. Did you really think Amelia would fall for someone like you?”

“She only loves me. You’re nothing but a temporary fix, a painkiller she’s using to get over me. The only reason she’s hurting is because she loved me too much.”

Ryan wasn’t angry. If anything, he found Clive’s words funny.

He let out a low laugh, the sound sharp in Clive’s ears.

“What the hell are you laughing at?”

“Honestly, before today, I had a tiny bit of doubt. I thought maybe you still meant something to Amelia. But now that I’ve seen you, I realize I was completely overthinking it.” Ryan glanced at Clive’s pale, furious face and leaned in, lowering his voice. “Someone like you isn’t even qualified to be my rival.”

His Amelia would never waste her time going back to someone like this.

Ryan didn’t bother wasting another second. He turned to leave but paused, as if something just occurred to him. He looked back, his words hitting like a punch to the gut.

“You should be grateful Timmy takes after his mom. He’s nothing like you. I can’t wait for the day he calls me Dad.”

“Shut up!” Clive exploded, charging forward with his fist flying, fast and hard.

He figured that after five years as George’s blood bag, Ryan might look tough but was probably weak inside. One good punch and he’d break Ryan’s nose for sure.

But Ryan was faster than he ever expected. He caught Clive’s fist in midair. Before Clive could even process what was happening, a sharp, blinding pain shot through his arm.

Ryan twisted his arm brutally, using Clive’s own momentum against him.

“Aah!” Clive screamed.

It wasn’t just a simple fracture. It was a grinding, tearing agony, his flesh and bones twisted so tightly it felt like his arm was being ripped off. It was so much worse than just a break.

Cold sweat broke out all over Clive’s forehead. His knees buckled, and he collapsed to the floor.

Clive slammed his fist on the floor, seething with frustration.

He refused to accept this.

Ryan used to be nothing, just some loser watching Amelia from the shadows.

Suddenly, Clive’s phone rang, the sound way too loud in the silent room.

It was Michael.

“Hey man, what are you up to? Haven’t seen you in a couple days. Heard you just scored that funding deal. The guys want to celebrate. Come out for a drink.”

Clive’s mood couldn’t get any worse. “Yeah, sure. Just text me the address.”

Meanwhile, Michael hung up and pushed open the door to their private room. In the corner, Cameron was sitting there, chugging beer without a word, looking completely miserable. He’d been down in the dumps for days.
