Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 620

Amelia turned her phone toward the full-length mirror and switched to the front camera.

Diana immediately started gushing.

“You look amazing! That off-the-shoulder cream top is so soft and classy. And your curls? Perfection! Take a couple of selfies and send them to me. I want to save one as your contact photo! Gotta run, babe, they’re calling me for lighting!”

Amelia laughed, adjusted her angle in the mirror, snapped a few quick shots, and sent them off to her most recent contact.

“Mom, I’m ready. Can we go now?” Timmy called out, appearing with his tiny backpack.

Amelia quickly sent Diana one last message: [I feel like the top is kind of loose in the chest, though.] Then she tucked her phone away.

“Alright, Timmy. Let’s get going.”

When they reached the elevator, Patrick was just stepping out.

“Good morning, Ms. Sadinton. Good morning, Timmy.” After a lot of insisting from Amelia, Patrick had finally gotten used to calling her Ms. Sadinton. She felt way too old to be called “Miss” with a kid Timmy’s age.

“Morning, Patrick,” Timmy said politely.

Amelia smiled. “Patrick, everything at the apartment is packed. Thanks for helping Donna move everything to the old house today. I gave her the keys.”

She’d had the old house cleaned up over the past couple of days. The furniture was all there, so they just needed to move in their stuff.

“No problem,” Patrick said easily.

She added, “I locked Grandpa’s study. You can skip that room.”

Amelia blinked, confused. When she opened the chat, her stomach dropped.

She’d accidentally sent the selfies and her message about the top to Ryan instead of Diana.

Diana was her pinned contact, but now so was Ryan.

Staring at his reply—Fits you perfectly—Amelia wanted to melt into the floor.

She swallowed her embarrassment and typed back: [Oops, wrong person…]

Ryan: [?]

A second later, Ryan was calling her. Amelia scrambled for her earbuds and answered, heart pounding.
