**TITLE: No More**
**Chapter 300**
**Reven’s POV**
As I stepped out of Alpha Ethan’s study with the children, the excitement in their eyes was palpable. I felt a tug at my heart, knowing that I had planned to let them venture out on their own, thinking they could manage with just a little nudge from me. But as I glanced at their eager, expectant faces, a wave of realization washed over me. Today was meant to be a day of pure joy for them, and there was no way I could leave them to their own devices.
I turned my attention to Lucian, who was practically bouncing off the walls, a bundle of energy waiting to explode. “Sit still for just a moment, or those shoes won’t go on right,” I gently scolded, ruffling his tousled hair. His playful groan was followed by compliance as I swiftly dressed him in a crisp polo shirt and khaki shorts. The moment I slipped on his little sneakers, he stomped around the room, the sound of his joyous footsteps echoing against the walls.
Little Mara and Lyra were more cooperative, though Zara was adamant about wearing the pink tutu skirt I had picked out for her. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her determination. “Alright, you win! Let’s pair it with a matching top,” I conceded, knowing how much it meant to her.
Lyra’s outfit was a simple yet charming summer dress adorned with a playful pattern that perfectly suited her vibrant personality. As I helped her fasten the tiny buttons at the back, she looked up at me with her big, hopeful eyes. “What are we going to do first, Mommy?” she asked, practically bouncing on her toes, her excitement radiating like sunshine.
I smiled faintly, feeling a warmth spread through me. “Well, let’s see. You’ll get to play with all the toys there, and you can explore the rides to your heart’s content. Just promise me you’ll stick together, okay?”
Their squeals of delight filled the air, and they tugged at my hands, urging me to hurry up with the last touches. I finished dressing them, ensuring their hair was neat and their shoes were tied, checking that they had everything they needed for their adventure.
“Now go meet your daddy,” I instructed them once I was satisfied with their appearance.
Lucian hesitated, looking up at me with wide, questioning eyes. “You’re not coming with us?”
I shook my head gently. “No, sweetheart, I have something I need to take care of. But I promise you’ll have a blast without me.”
A chorus of groans erupted in the room, and Mara pouted, crossing her tiny arms defiantly. “If you aren’t coming, we’re not going!”
Kneeling down to their level, I sighed, my heart aching at their disappointment. “You can’t say that. I promise I’ll join you another time.”
“No!” Lyra exclaimed, her frustration evident as she tugged at the hem of her dress, mimicking taking it off. “We want you to come now!”
With a resigned smile, I relented. “Alright, alright! I’ll come. But you all need to give me a moment to get ready.”
Their faces lit up like fireworks, and they rushed to envelop me in a warm, clinging hug, their laughter echoing in the room. “Yes! Yay!” they cheered in unison, their joy contagious.
—
I excused myself and made my way back to my room to change. I wanted to keep my outfit simple, not wanting to overdo it. I settled on an off-shoulder gown that flowed gracefully, soft and elegant against my skin, paired with delicate slippers. Letting my hair fall loosely over my shoulders, I applied a touch of gloss to my lips, taking one last glance at my reflection before heading back to the kids.
As I entered their room, Lyra’s eyes widened in awe. “Wow, Mommy! You look so beautiful!” she exclaimed, her admiration shining through.
“Thank you, sweetheart,” I replied, my smile genuine as I took their hands and led them toward Alpha Ethan’s study.
He was already wheeling himself out, the children trailing behind him, their energy practically bouncing off the walls. Outside, the car awaited us, and they climbed in, their voices a delightful cacophony as they excitedly discussed the rides and games they were eager to try.
I stayed quiet, content to listen to their chatter, a soft smile gracing my lips. Their enthusiasm was infectious, wrapping around me like a comforting blanket.
The drive to Disneyland was filled with their animated conversations about what they would do first, where they wanted to go, and the delicious treats they hoped to indulge in. I focused on the road ahead, occasionally glancing at Ethan, who seemed unusually quiet, his expression inscrutable as he absorbed their excitement.
After what felt like an eternity, we finally arrived. The gates loomed ahead, bustling with families and laughter. A security guard approached us, and before I could respond to his questions, Ethan stepped in confidently.
“Yes, we are a couple,” he stated with assurance.
