Sylvara's Rebirth: A New Dawn for Abel novel Chapter 27

**Chapter 27: The Late Wife Scheme**

When Sweetheart truly engaged her mind, she could be surprisingly astute.

**Fine-bed**

Aslan thumped his chest with an air of confidence, his voice booming as he declared, “Go ahead and choose whatever your heart desires. If anyone gives you any trouble, just tell them to seek out Aslan in the Agriculture Department. I’ll handle it.”

He stood there, handsome and charismatic, a steadfast ally in her corner.

Sylvara felt as though she had struck gold, her smile radiant like the morning sun. “Thank you so much! I’ll whip up a gigantic jar of pickled peppers for you later. I promise they’ll be so spicy they’ll scorch your tongue right off!”

Aslan’s eyes sparkled with enthusiasm at the mention of those peppers. “Fantastic! I’ll be eagerly awaiting that treat.”

With a casual wave of his hand, he led her toward a charming little villa, gesturing nonchalantly. “Here’s your dorm. Get yourself settled in, and make sure to report to the Agriculture Department in two days—just ask for Aslan.”

Sylvara nodded sweetly, her heart swelling with gratitude. “Thank you! I’ll see you soon!”

Aslan waved goodbye, his mood clearly buoyant as he turned to leave.

Sylvara gazed up at the two-story green villa, complete with a quaint little yard, and felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction wash over her. During the apocalypse, even as a top-tier fighter boasting first-class combat skills, she had been confined to a mere single room. A villa? That had been nothing but a distant dream.

This villa came with a price tag of ten thousand stellar coins a month—but it was absolutely worth every single coin.

By the entrance, a large ceramic pot stood empty, filled only with soil, devoid of any plants.

It was the perfect spot for her rainbow pepper.

Kneeling down, Sylvara eagerly dug a hole in the soil with her hands, planting the rainbow pepper that she had infused with her plant-based mental energy.

As soon as the pepper made contact with the soil, it surged upward, nourished by her mental focus, growing another inch almost instantly. The bright red peppers glistened even more vibrantly, as if they were alive.

With a playful flick of her finger, she touched one of the peppers. “From this moment on, you’re mine. I promise to restore you to your ancestral glory—not like those tacky rainbow peppers you see on the streets.”

With a sense of accomplishment, she lifted the ceramic pot and stepped inside, placing the rainbow pepper on the dining table. The bright red peppers looked absolutely stunning.

**Chapter 27: The Late Wife**

After setting it down, Sylvara took a moment to survey her new home, where she would reside for the next five years. The first floor was designed in an open-plan style, featuring a cozy living room, a dining area, a television, a kitchen, and a fridge—though sadly, it lacked any natural food.

The second floor housed two rooms—a study and a bedroom. The bedroom boasted a large balcony that promised delightful views.

Sylvara stepped out onto the balcony, inhaling deeply with her eyes closed. This existence was infinitely more comfortable than battling zombies in the apocalypse.
