Chapter 43 Big Purchase
The screen turned silent in one heartbeat.
No one dared breathe.

They all heard the same shocking line. The commander’s wife bought ingredients. She wanted to cook for him. That was what they assumed.
Agares narrowed his eyes. He could not return to Kolar planet yet. He had to report to Centria planet first. After that, he needed to fly back to the Fifth Sector to find her and end the marriage.
He lifted his wrist and tapped through the setting’s on his optical computer. He blocked every alert tied to his bank account. Then he looked back at the screen. “Send this to the entire Hunting Legion. Anyone who wants to marry must choose someone at least twenty years old.”
The screen froze.
People under twenty were out. They couldn’t even find anyone over sixty.
Carlos wiped at the cold sweat running down his back. He felt finished.
Agares shot him a sideways look. Then he spoke again. “Increase all training to three times the normal level. I will check the results when I return. End meeting.”
He cut the call.
The hunters on the other side groaned like they were dying.
Someone had pushed the commander too far. Three times the training meant a slow death on
their feet.
The Interstellar Era made delivery fast.
Sylvara placed her order.
Thirty minutes later, boxes filled the living room.
She organized each item. She stacked food in the fridge. She lined the kitchen shelves with the
rest.
Her optical computer lit up. Saphron was calling,
Sylvara tapped the answer button and kept sorting. “Hello. So, what are you having for dinner?”

Saphron had seen the news of the Level 7 plant healer. He remembered the strange fruit she had sold him.
He also remembered the lie she asked him to tell Agares. The more he thought about it, the more he believed her fruit came straight from that healer.
He had eaten half of one. A warm pulse had run through his bones like liquid heat.
He could not wait anymore.
“Dinner can wait,” Saphron said softly. “I wanted to ask … when you said I could pick up fruit tomorrow, were you talking about lemons?”
Sylvara paused. She lifted her eyes toward the call. Saphron was perfect for selling fruit. If he handled the deliveries, no one would locate her. Her healer identity would stay hidden.
“Yes. I received lemons from a Level 7 plant healer. I now manage this whole lemon tree. If you can come now, we can talk about how to sell them.”
Saphron almost burst with excitement. She does have lemons, and she’s going to let me sell them! “Yes… yes, Ms. Feywin. I am coming right away.”
Sylvara smiled. “Bring your spatial button. You will need the space.”
“I will bring it. I promise,” Saphron said, breathless.
Sylvara ended the call and finished cleaning the room.
Saphron arrived soon after.
It was the start of the school year, so security was loose. He slipped in while pretending to be a
parent.
He stepped into the room and stayed quiet.
Sylvara lifted a finger and motioned. “Do you trust me?”
Saphron nodded hard. He had no choice.
The entire Starnet chased the Level 7 healer. People begged to serve him. People begged to farm for him. Even being near the healer meant a chance at success.
Saphron wanted that chance, even if it meant he had to go through a middleman called Sylvara.
Sylvara liked that he understood her mood. “Good. Follow me. We are going to make money.”

Saphron snapped to attention. He followed closely.

Sylvara brought him to the rainbow pepper field. She swept her hand across the bright plants. “These belong to me. You need to find a way to pick them.”
Saphron stared in silence.
It took him a long moment before words came back. “Ms. Feywin. these peppers are the academy’s symbol. If we take them, the punishment will be harsh. We might get fined or locked up.”
