The commander of Troya had never been dragged through the mud like this. No one had ever pointed at him and thrown threats at his face.

Agares did not even twitch. His voice stayed cold and sharp. “He knows I am hunting him. He chose to shout it across the Empire. Ms. Feywin must know him well. She does not want me anywhere near him.”

Auren leaned in. “Commander, could Feywin crush the Swarmborn host because she had help from this Level 7 plant healer?”

Agares did not look at Auren. He kept his attention on Carlos. “What else did she write on Starnet?”

Carlos answered fast. “That was her only post. But Commander, her account sits at the highest rank. If you want access, you need signatures from the Assembly, the Elder Council, and His Majesty. Without those, it counts as breaking Troya law.”

Agares spoke without a pause. “Incorrect. A new account does not unlock that rank unless the mainframe senses mental energy higher than Level 7. The system hides identities that strongly.”

The Troya mainframe was their pride. It scanned mental energy with perfect accuracy.

If someone ranked high enough, the system locked their profile. It kept assassins away. It kept foreign nations from stealing them.

Auren pressed his hand over his mouth. His eyes shook. “If that is true, Commander, your condition … ”

Agares raised a hand and cut him off. “Prepare the ship. We return to Centria planet.”

Carlos and Auren stiffened. They saluted hard. “Yes, Commander.”

Sylvara shoved Aslan out the door with two and a half bunches of grapes. She closed the door behind him. She opened Starnet and created her account. She announced herself as a Level 7 healer on the spot.

The mainframe lit her page with certification. Level 7 Plant Healer. Her account shot straight to the top like a flare.

The replies hit her feed in a flood.

“Daddy, look at me. My genes have been breaking apart since I was a kid. Daddy, please pick me. I will spend anything.”

“Daddy, forget that guy. Pick me. Wiggle your finger and heal me. I will call myself your son forever.”

“Daddy, tell me when the healing fruit drops.”

“Yes Daddy yes Daddy yes Daddy, tell us when it drops. Here’s my number.”

Millions of people across Troya followed her at once. Every single one of them yelled “Daddy” like they had no self-respect.

Sylvara stared at the chaos. She opened the fridge. She pulled out the sliced lemon. She dug out one seed.

The seed burst open in her hand. Leaves shot upward. Branches thickened. A lemon tree grew until yellow fruit covered every branch.

She balanced the tree in one hand. She snapped a picture with the other. She posted it. “Stop calling me Daddy. I am trying to snag my husband. Count the lemons on this tree. If you get it right, I will let you eat one.”

Her message hit Starnet like a bomb.

“Snag your husband? So you are not Daddy. You are a Mom?”

“Boss, gender has no rules. Forget your husband. I volunteer.”

“Your husband has no shame if he makes you go after him. I am jealous.”

“As an ancient Earth fan, I studied the archive. Lemons were crisp and juicy. They held a strong scent. They were packed with citric acid. People called them the ‘citric acid vault.”

“It also meant jealousy. You could call someone a lemon if you envied them. The healer posted this tree so we can sit here and cry.”

The comments never stopped.

The Starnet explosion did her another favor. The wild rumors about the prince’s wife vanished under the noise. Everyone forgot about it.

Sylvara felt proud.

Her disguise stayed safe. If Aslan dared expose her, she would twist his head off. He had no chance against her.

She stuffed the lemon tree into her spatial button.
