Seeing Dahlia’s pale face amuses me quite a bit. I bet she regrets not keeping her promise now but it’s too late for that. I will never forgive her for what she did.
“T-that’s a lie! It wasn’t my fault that you left! I-it was Daisy! You always had to deal with her and her weak self!” Dahlia stammers out. Her voice is shrill and pathetic, exactly what I expected.
“You depended on me to do everything including being your sister and friend. In the end, it was your jealousy and selfishness that kept me from being known by your parents.” I say and get out of bed.
“Hey! Stay in bed, you’re still not better!” I turn my attention to Tristian and raise an eyebrow at him. I see the regret and guilt in his eyes too. How disgusting! It’s too late for both of them.
“I’m perfectly fine as is this body. It’s Daisy that’s shattered beyond recognition. And whose fault is that I wonder?” His hazel eyes flash with guilt and anger. He’s not used to someone not listening to him it seems.
“She’s the one who selfishly tried to off herself.” Tristian mutters and clenches his fists. “It’s the coward’s way out. Everyone knows that! Why didn’t you stop her anyway?”
I can’t help but laugh at his question. Trying to push the blame on me huh? “I was weakened by rejection, bastard. Your rejection if you want to know more details.” Tristian pales and growls under his breath.
Dahlia stares wide-eyed at both of us, but I merely walk out of the room brushing past them. I nod to Samuel and smile gently. As one of Daisy’s true friends, I like this boy. I sense a strong wolf in him, one that will shock everyone around him just like me.
Suddenly an arm grabs me and I snap my head back to see it’s Tristian. His eyes are dark and angry. “I order you to get back into bed and lie down!” He growls his eyes flashing as I see Silas trying to take control.
An Alpha’s command, one that wolves under his rank would follow without question. For me though it had no effect. I jerk my arm back and his eyes widen in shock when I’m left unaffected.
“D-Daisy?” Samuel stammers with wide eyes. “No… Naomi… h-how…?” It is shocking to see I’m sure but it’s honestly no big deal. I know who I am, a true Luna that Tristian will regret losing forever.
“Try and make me, trash.” I purr before walking to the front door. I stop Jim staring with a stunned expression. My eyes darken and I smirk. “You’re equally trash. And a good reason why I’m going to do this.” I walk out of the house and breathe in fresh air.
I see many pack members outside doing work and getting assigned patrols. Perfect! I walk out and see everyone stop to watch me. As I hear their whispers, I can tell they have no sympathy towards Daisy. She’s only a burden to them, a selfish one at that.
“Naomi! Get back here now!” Tristian roars making everyone jump and look to their Alpha. He storms after me looking ready to shift and rip me apart. I stop only when I get to the middle of everyone and turn to face him. “You will do as you’re told as a member of Moonlight pack! You’re just an Omega! The lowest of the low, dirt under my feet!”
Seeing his eyes flash back and forth makes me laugh. Silas is pissed off too. “Not anymore,” I say making Tristian frown. “I, Naomi, reject Moonlight pack and all its members as my own.” His eyes widen at my words. It means I will leave and live as a
rouge.
“Don’t you dare…” Tristian growls but there’s panic in his eyes along with worry. Now he cares? It’s far too late for that.
“I, Naomi, reject the Summers family as my own. I will live pack-less and without a family from now on.” I continue and then take a deep breath. What I’m about to do is something that no wolf does.

Chapter 16
“N-Naomi… why?” Dahlia whispers and shakes with tears in her eyes. Rejecting the pack is shocking enough but my family? Well, none of them ever treated Daisy as one of their own. I am a part of her though so why should I put up with this?
“Because I’m sick of her being treated like garbage for something she couldn’t control,” I say dryly making her flinch. I then look Tristian in the eye and smirk. He moves closer to me looking beyond pissed.
“I, Naomi, former member of Moonlight and wolf of Daisy,” I begin as Tristian stops in front of me, “reject you Silas, Alpha of Moonlight pack and wolf of Tristian, as my mate.” Shock flashes in his eyes and he falls to his knees gasping as he clenches
his chest.
Everyone in the pack watches in horror as their Alpha withers in agony. Dahlia is frozen in place as she stares at me. I bet she never thought Daisy would be his mate. Who would believe a so-called weak Omega would be?
“Y-you…” I watch as Silas takes over and looks up at me. Agony twists his once handsome features. “H-how… could you…?” Wolves rarely reject their mates even after their humans do. It’s a taboo in a way, but I feel it’s necessary.
