Emily got up slowly, looking right into his eyes indifferently as she said, “Well, what a coincidence. I don’t like you either. How about we file for divorce right now?”

He grabbed her neck. His grip was not strong, but it was incredibly threatening and humiliating.

Anger was surging in Gabriel’s eyes.

“Must you force me to treat you like this?” he asked.

Emily was forced to lift her head, meeting his eyes in disdain.

“I’ve already submitted the evidence to the hospital director. I can’t take it back anymore. Instead of forcing me, why don’t you quickly think of a way to have Amelia avoid jail time instead?” she said.

Emily smiled and said, “I can delete it, but you have to divorce me.”

He straightened his collar and said, “If you don’t want Mallory’s career to end here as well, don’t make the video public. I’ll handle the comments online.”

After saying that, he left, leaving Emily clenching her fists tightly. She couldn’t believe Gabriel actually blackmailed her using Mallory.

Besides, she had no choice but to give in. She could not get Mallory into trouble because of her own business.

Emily watched Gabriel’s back as he walked into the distance, and she had no choice but to suppress her resentment.
