After work, Rebecca carried a box with her personal belongings into the elevator.

Just as the doors were closing, Dylan suddenly appeared, holding them open with his hand before stepping inside.

As luck would have it, they were the only two in the elevator.

Sharing the small, confined space, Rebecca tried to stand as far away from Dylan as possible. She could feel the powerful aura emanating from him, which made her feel a little uncomfortable.

When they finally reached the ground floor, Rebecca was standing by the curb waiting for her car when Dylan's car suddenly pulled up in front of her.

“Raina, let me give you a ride home,” Dylan’s voice came from inside the car.

Rebecca was taken aback for a moment and subconsciously looked up at the sky. The sun hadn't risen in the west.

She shook her head and politely declined with a smile, “No, thank you, sir. My car will be here any second.”

Hearing this, Dylan’s lips curled into a sarcastic smirk, as if he had expected her to say that.

Rebecca looked at his inscrutable expression and couldn’t help but frown.

After a moment, Rebecca’s car arrived.

Just as she was about to walk over, Dylan’s voice came again. “Raina, it seems you’re doing quite well for yourself. You even have a private car service. No other employee in the company is as well-off as you.”

Rebecca thought Dylan was acting strangely today, and he was being unusually talkative.

She smiled and replied, “It’s all thanks to the generous salary Mr. Austin provides that I can afford a car.”

Dylan smiled back, a smile that seemed to hold some other meaning. “Keep up the good work, and I’ll give you a raise.”
