His voice was hoarse and rough, each word dripping with a repulsive, greasy tone.
If Katherine hadn't told him his 'daughter' was here, he never would have found her so quickly.
Rebecca grew even more wary, her brow tightening. "What do you want?"
She had just sent all her bodyguards to protect the children, leaving her completely alone. The situation was not in her favor.
Gordon took a step closer, emanating a pungent odor that made Rebecca wrinkle her nose in disgust.
He said, "I'm not here for anything much. Just came to ask for a little spending money. You know, I came all this way to rely on you, but you, my ungrateful daughter, haven't given your old father a second thought. Do you have any idea how miserable I've been?"
Gordon's gaze fell on the expensive gift boxes and supplements in Rebecca's hands, and his eyes glinted with greed and resentment.
Rebecca sneered. "Miserable? How you live has nothing to do with me. I've already told you, I'm not your daughter."
But Gordon refused to believe it. He was convinced Rebecca was his daughter.
In his mind, it was only natural for him to take money from his daughter, who was living a life of luxury while he was destitute.
"Enough with the excuses. Just give me a straight answer. Are you going to give me the money or not?"
As he spoke, he gestured to the men behind him, who immediately put on menacing expressions to back him up.
