She hated Gordon with a passion.
She had wanted Rebecca to experience the same pain she had endured, but instead, Rebecca had simply had his hands chopped off.
She was far more ruthless than Katherine had ever been.
And as for Gordon…
“You’re completely useless! Weren’t you so tough before? And yet you couldn’t even handle one simple task!” Katherine screamed into the phone at him.
Gordon was still crying on the other end. “Kathy, you’re all I have now. Please help me. I don’t want to die…”
Katherine ground her teeth. “In that case, you should just go die!”
With that, Katherine angrily hung up.
Gordon was nothing but a waste of space. Since he was no longer a threat to Rebecca, he had no reason to live.
He had tormented her throughout her childhood, and no one wanted him dead more than she did.
On another front, Hogan was growing increasingly anxious, having not yet received a reply from the Thomson family.
Jane was constantly nagging him. “Honey, what’s happening? Why haven’t the Thomsons gotten back to you yet?”
Hogan shook his head. “I don’t know.”
Jane pressed, “Should we go to the Thomson estate and ask them again?”
Hogan refused. “No. If we keep showing up, we’ll look too desperate. It might even annoy them.”
