Ella held her strawberry ice cream and shot a quick glance at David.

He stood there, tall and lean, quietly watching her. It was like he was waiting to see what she’d say next.

“Does it really have to be a guy who buys me ice cream? I got it myself,” Ella said, tossing out a little white lie.

Jessa and Sarah didn’t look convinced.

David caught her eye and the corner of his mouth lifted. Little liar.

Ella didn’t want to drag this out any longer. She turned to Atlas. “Atlas, I don’t feel like going to the hot springs anymore. Can we head back to the room?”

Atlas nodded. “Yeah, let’s go.”

He led her away without another word.

Sarah watched them leave, jealousy dripping from her voice. “She’s lying, for sure. Some guy definitely bought her that ice cream. And now she’s dragging Atlas back to their room. She’s just desperate to sleep with him.”

Jessa slipped her arm through David’s. “David, Ella’s dating Atlas now, and they’re sharing a room tonight. Do you think they’re going to… you know?”

Sarah jumped in before he could answer. “Obviously! David never touched Ella, but you can just tell she’s not a virgin.”

Jessa glanced up at David, trying to read his face. “Rreally? Maybe...”

“Jessa, you can’t seriously believe Ella’s as innocent as you are. She knows exactly how to hook a guy. Who knows how many men she’s been with?”

David’s face turned icy, his features sharp and unreadable as he stared after Ella.

Sarah kept going, her voice dropping. “And don’t forget her foster dad. She probably… well, you know, back when she was a kid…”

But that wasn’t the only thing.

Sarah gasped, her face twisting in outrage. “And lingerie! Ella actually ordered lingerie!”

A couple of black straps and a tiny piece of lace were laid out on the tray. There was no mistaking what it was.

Condoms and sexy lingerie, both headed straight for Ella and Atlas' suite.

Sarah stomped her foot, fuming. “Ella’s so shameless. No wonder Atlas is crazy about her. She’s totally a whore.”
