The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 322

Cedric blinked, looking confused. “Ella, how did you know she doesn’t like red roses?”

Grandma Jill piped up, “Mr. Grimm, don’t listen to Ella’s nonsense. She’s just jealous that the prodigy girl caught your eye and wants to stir things up.”

Cedric shot Ella a look. “Ella, you better not mess this up for me. I’m about to seriously start pursuing my goddess.”

Ella couldn’t help but laugh. She curled her lips into a playful smile and looked at Cedric. “Well, good luck with that, Mr. Grimm.”

Cedric just gave a huff.

Jessa didn’t want everyone talking about the prodigy girl, so she quickly switched the topic to Ella. “David, Ella showed up at the summit too, but she doesn’t even have an invitation.”

David glanced at Ella and asked quietly, “You don’t have an invitation?”

Ella shook her head. “Nope.”

David’s lips twitched with a tiny smirk. “Looks like your amazing boyfriend isn’t that amazing after all. He couldn’t even get you an invitation.”

Ella fell as silent. Honestly, he mentioned her boyfriend so much it was starting to get weird. He probably remembered more about her boyfriend than she did.

Lilly turned to David. “Mr. Harmon, Ella and I don’t have invitations. Can you take us in?”

David’s gaze landed on Ella’s strikingly pretty face. “Do you want me to?” he asked softly.

Was he really offering to help her get in?

Ella shook her head. “No, that’s okay.”

Lilly shot Ella a desperate look, whispering, “Ella, we don’t have invitations. Didn’t you want to go in? It’s fine, Mr. Harmon can bring us.”

Ella just smiled. “Lilly, we don’t need his help.”

Jessa and Maureen stared at Ella like she was crazy. “Ella, drop your act. If Mr. Harmon doesn’t take you, how are you getting in?”

The VIP lane was for people like David, not for regular guests. Everyone else needed an invitation to get in. What made Ella so special?

“David, how is Ella getting into the VIP area?” Jessa asked, her voice full of shock.

David was surrounded by his group, but his cold eyes were fixed on Ella. He watched as she and Lilly reached the VIP checkpoint. Several staff members with blue badges hurried over to them, all smiles and respect. “Ms. Irvine, we’ve been expecting you. Right this way, please.”

Ella’s profile was cool and elegant as she nodded and followed the staff inside.

Her slender figure slipped out of sight.

David’s eyes narrowed slowly.

Jessa tried to say something else, but David was already striding toward the VIP entrance himself.

The rest of the crowd just stared at each other, completely confused. “What’s going on? How did Ella get to use the VIP entrance?”
