The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 350

Ella looked up and saw Cedric.

The noise had woken him. He got out of bed right away and yanked Justin off of her.

Justin, so lost in his own twisted thoughts, didn’t see it coming. He stumbled backward and crashed into the wall.

Cedric looked pale, but his eyes were sharp and cold. He glanced at Ella. “Are you alright?”

She nodded. “I’m fine.”

Only then did Cedric turn to Justin, his fists clenched tight. “You’re disgusting.”

Justin glared, his face twisted with anger. “You two are stranded here, and I saved you. If it weren’t for me, your leg would be useless right now. And this is how you thank me?”

He sneered, “What’s wrong with showing me a little gratitude? She’s not some innocent girl. She’s married already. What’s the difference if she sleeps with one man or a few?”

Cedric’s fury exploded. The veins on his hands stood out as he charged at Justin and punched him hard.

Justin didn’t back down. He lunged right back, and they started fighting.

Ella pushed herself up, her heart pounding. Watching them, she felt sick with fear.

Cedric was known as a tough guy back in Rockford Bay, but his leg was badly hurt. Justin was bigger and stronger. Soon, Cedric started to lose ground.

Justin’s face twisted with a cruel grin. “If you’d just listened, maybe I’d have let you both live. But now, you left me with no other choices. I’m gonan kill you, and then I’ll keep your lovely sister-in-law here for my own fun.”

He laughed, sick and loud. “Honestly, I never wanted to save you, but she was just too tempting. Guess I got lucky.”

As he spat out those words, Justin grabbed Cedric by the throat, his eyes dark and wild.

Suddenly, there was a loud crack. A stool smashed down on Justin’s head.

Cedric swung his arm, knocking the knife out of Justin’s hand. Then he kicked him hard. Justin flew back, slammed into the wall, spit out blood, and collapsed.

“Cedric, are you hurt?” Ella rushed over to check on him.

The knife hadn’t stabbed him, but it had cut his arm. Blood was running down.

“Your arm… Let me take care of that.”

She grabbed the first-aid kit and wrapped up his wound.

They were stuck here, but for now, they’d made it through.

Cedric stared at the unconscious Justin on the floor. “He’s the chief’s son. If he wakes up tomorrow, we’re in real trouble.”

Ella already knew. Justin’s status made everything more dangerous. For now, they were safe, but she could feel a bigger storm coming.
