The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 359

David just rolled over, pinning her beneath him. “Want to go another round?”

The look in his eyes was wild, burning with energy. He wasn’t kidding. He really meant it.

How did he have this much stamina?

“Ella, you know, we’ve never tried it in the morning.”

Ella’s pretty face went red in a flash. This guy was insane.

She shoved him away and jumped out of bed, not looking back.

David just smiled, the corners of his lips curling up in a small smile.

Later, David and Ella went to check on Cedric. Ella examined his injured leg, nodding in satisfaction. The healing was going better than expected.

They’d survived the roughest night.

“Cedric, you get to keep your leg,” Ella announced.

Cedric watched her, his tone gruff. “Don’t think I’m going to thank you.”

Ella rolled her eyes. “Do you think your thanks mean anything to me?”

Cedric was left speechless, just staring at her.

David watched them from the side. Cedric and Ella bickered nonstop, but David could sense something had changed. Cedric was starting to look at Ella differently.

“David, let’s just go,” Cedric said, clearly ready to leave.

David nodded. “I’m going to talk to the village chief first.”

He turned and walked out.

“David, what do you need the chief for?” Cedric called after him.

Ella glanced in the direction David had gone, then turned to Cedric. “Maybe he’ll come back with a new sister-in-law for you. Jessa might have some competition.”

David didn’t move.

Gina blinked, surprised. “David, what’s going on? I thought you were here to ask my dad for my hand.”

David ignored both of them. His cold, sharp gaze landed right on Justin.

He strode toward him, not saying a word.

Justin stared, confused. “Mr. Harmon, what…”

Before he could finish, David’s fist shot out, landing square on Justin’s face.

Justin crashed into the wall, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

David grabbed him by the collar, his voice low and fierce. “Now you know who hit you. Don’t ever even think about my girl again.”

David’s fists came down on Justin again and again, like a storm that wouldn’t let up.
