When my mate passed out in my arms, I carefully held her while I slid out of her. Thad come so hard I’d almost passed out. Tyrus’ canines had come out and it every bit of control have over him to keep him from marking her.

I’ve never opened myself to anyone like I did with Piper.

I’ve never bared my soul like I did. Without the mind link, l wasn’t sure that it would work. But I didn’t give my mate any room to get away or look away and I had pushed every bit of love and passion that I have into her.

1 smile as I carry my mate to the bed. I guess it worked.

“Damn right it did, Tyrus purrs.

‘Is Fallon out too?’

“Oh yeah. She’s out cold. They won’t forget tonight. Ever.’

‘If they ever start to, we’ll remind them, I say, laying her down then going to the bathroom to get a washcloth.

‘Alpha, I’m assuming everything is okay up there,” Dallas asks in the mind link.

‘Yes. Sorry if we disturbed you.’

‘A man should never apologize for making a woman scream like that.’ I hear him chuckle before he closes the Link.I grin as I wash our mess off my mate. Then I crawl into bed, adjusting her so her head is on my chest, and her body is tucked against mine before pulling the blankets over us and falling asleep.

In the morning, after some of the best sleep in my life, I’m surprised when my mate is stilt sound asleep.

“Piper,” I murmur against her hair. I love that my bed, our bed, now has her scent all over it. Waking up with my naked mate lying on me and her scent surrounding me is the absolute best way to wake up.

Well, I can think of one better way to wake up, Tyrus growls. He keeps the sound soft, not wanting to startle Piper awake.

“Piper, you need to wake up. You have a lot of people who are excited to spar with you this morning,” I murmur again.

“Mmm, am I late for class?”

I go very still. “Piper, I swear to the goddess, if you call me Zach

I watch her frown, then she begins moving her hand over my chest and stomach.

“Who is this strange man in my bed?” I narrow my eyes until I see her lips twitching.

“The only man who will EVER be in your bed again,” | growl.”Ohhh! Henry,” she says, opening her eyes and grinning up at me.

“Good morning,” I say, kissing her nose.

She frowns. “What the hell did you do to me last night?”

I stroke my fingers over her cheek, loving this quiet moment together before our day begins.

“I’m assuming that you’ve had sexual partners, possibly fuck buddies, or maybe friends with benefits, but you’ve never had a man make love to you, Piper. That’s what I did.

I made love to you like a man who loves a woman should.”

She looks up at me. “That was incredibly intense.”

“So is my love for you.”

She pushes herself up on her elbow so she’s looking down at me. I continue to run my fingers over her bare back.

“Don’t think this means I won’t still ride you like bucking bronco,” she says.

I look at the clock. “We don’t have time now, but l’d be happy to watch you ride me later.” I slide my hand into her hair, fisting it, and tugging her face up to look at me. “And I’ll be happy to fuck you until you can’t walk straight, happy to bend you over every surface in this room and my office until you’re weeping with pleasure. I want it all, Piper. All the passion, all the raw, desperate need, and all the deep, gut-wrenching love.”She searches my face, then leans down to kiss me softly

“I want it all too,” she says softly.

“Good,” I say, smacking her ass and making her yelp in surprise. “Now, let’s get going. I have a lot I want to do today and I already know our warriors are going to keep us longer than normal so they can try their hand against you.”

I was already hard, but when my mate tossed back the blanket and stood naked and glorious in front of me, my dick went rock hard. I growled possessively as I looked over her gorgeous body. She’s ripped, as you’d expect a warrior of her caliber to be. But even with her six-pack abs and the defined lines in her arms and legs, she still has gentle curves and perky breasts.

When I look at her face, she’s smiling proudly. “Like what you see, Alpha?”
