DRACO.
I watched as he drove away, and as soon as he was out of sight, I walked deeper into the forest and shifted into my wolf.
Instead of going directly to Constantine’s house, I began to hunt for animals.
My wolf ripped these animals to pieces.
Constantine should be grateful that I channeled my anger on them, or anyone inside his house would be butchered in no time, including those fucking police patrolling his estate.
When I had had my fill of blood, I headed for his home.
His whole estate was alive with bright lights, and my Beta wasn’t joking when he told me there were police stationed in every corner. The moron surely knew I would come back for him and that I could end his fucking life if I wanted to.
I knew he wasn’t home, so I could only imagine how many more officers were around his hospital suite.
I exited the forest line at the back of his mansion and came face-to-face with a police officer, who, with one look at my naked, bloodied body, turned pale.
“Alpha Draco…” His eyes were wide, and I could see fear in them.
Some Alphas would demand respect. I demanded fear. This world is already so corrupted that respect would get you nowhere.
“I want something inside that house.”
“Alpha, we can’t let you in.”
“The choice is yours,” I spoke as I began walking forward. “Either you tell them to let me in, or your blood will share space with the blood on my body.”
The officer was human, and I assumed the rest of them were as well, as this estate was in the center of human territory. So I was sure he couldn’t smell that what I had on me was animals’ blood.
Soon, many more police officers came, but I didn’t stop walking until I reached the front door. One look at the helper by the door, and I was let in. I had no idea what awaited me inside, but as long as they didn’t have silver bullets, I knew I was safe.
Constantine didn’t have it, or he would never have asked me the last time I was here if I could share with him where he could buy it.
I was not stupid. I knew he could use it against me, so I didn’t tell him.
In no time, I was already walking down the stairs leading to the basement, where I found Iris being beaten. I stepped inside the small room that she occupied, and my heart sank.
I closed the door behind me and looked around at the concrete wall with no paint. This place was a fucking storage room with cobwebs on the ceiling.
Her bed and her dresser were kept well, but despite that, this whole fucking room stank because the walls were damp. If she weren’t dying from all the beatings he was giving her, she would certainly die of all the mold that would come out of these fucking walls.
