Mr. Fielding had been with plenty of beautiful young women, but a sophisticated socialite like Mrs. Lawrence was a thrilling novelty.
Elara went to the next room and brought Fiona over.
"Is that all?" Fiona asked, surprised.
Elara gave a shy smile. "Yes, we've come to an agreement. Now it's your turn."
She then stepped out of the room, thoughtfully closing the door behind her. A few moments later, as she was enjoying the fruit tea Fiona had ordered, a loud crash came from the next room, followed by Fiona's terrified screams.
"Victor, help me! Please, help me!"
The door burst open, and she stumbled out, her clothes torn and her hair a mess, and threw herself into her husband's arms. Jason rushed past them and began beating Mr. Fielding, while his bodyguards tied the man up.
"It was Elara! She set me up!" Fiona sobbed into Victor's chest.
"That… doesn't seem possible," Jason said, confused.
Just then, Elara appeared at the doorway, a glass of fruit tea in one hand and her phone in the other. She calmly pressed play, and the conversation between Fiona and Mr. Fielding filled the room.
Fiona looked up, her eyes wide with disbelief. She had known something was off about Elara's calm demeanor. The woman had secretly called her husband and son, recorded their conversation, and led her right into a trap. How could she be so vicious?
But the recording stopped just as Fiona left the room.
