Aveline was staying the night at her maternal grandparents‘ house. Once she was in her room, she called Fiona to tell her about the new development.

Collin and Paulina were sitting on the bed in their bedroom, the old couple unable to sleep.

Collin said with a grave expression, “Aveline is definitely hiding something from us.”
