Wake Up Leave The Liar novel Chapter 210

Chapter 188

Zark had evening engagements. After the business discussion, he prepared to leave.

Noticing Zark looking at her, Ashley looked up.”What?”

Tomorrow was Valentine’s Day. Instead of saying it, Zark shook his head.”Nothing.”

Ashley was completely engrossed in work and had totally forgotten about Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t until the next day, at the office, when her colleagues. wished her a happy Valentine’s Day, that she realized it.

Just as Ashley was about to go back to her office, a voice came from the doorway.”Is Ms. Ashley Jones here? Someone ordered flowers for you. Please come out to sign for them.”

Ashley turned and saw a delivery guy holding a huge bouquet of red roses.

The delivery guy, and the extravagant bouquet, drew everyone’s attention. Rumors circulated about Ashley and Tim’s relationship, but many in the company knew Ashley was married. However, Ashley rarely talked about her personal life, leaving many unsure of her marital status.

Seeing the flowers, a woman said enviously, “Wow, what a huge bouquet of red roses! Is that from your husband? He’s so sweet.”

Yeah. I’m so jealous!”

Chase would never send her flowers. Ashley was sure it was not him. Her name was indeed written on the card, which meant the flowers weren’t

misdelivered.

The delivery guy handed her the roses. “Please sign here.”

Not wanting to inconvenience him, Ashley signed. Back in her office, she opened the beautiful card. The sender hadn’t left their name. There was only

one word on the card: Happy Valentine’s Day.

Tim walked in, seeing the red roses on her coffee table. He raised an eyebrow.”Who sent these?”

Ashley shook her head. “I don’t know. But the handwriting looks kind of familiar.”

Tim chuckled. Looks like someone has a crush on you. Any guesses?”

Ashley shook her head.”Nope.”

Tim stroked his chin. He and Ashley spent most of the time together, and yet he hadn’t noticed anyone interested in her. Thinking this, Tim pursed his lips. Although he thought it was impossible, he still asked, “Could it be… Chase?”
