Gabriel was supposed to go with them, but something came up last minute, so he didn’t make it.

Chase was supposed to host tonight, but after he got to the bar and gave a quick hello, he said he had plans with a friend and dipped.

Tim had a couple of good buddies in Jorvik too. After chilling for a bit, his friends came over to snag him for drinks.

Ashley wasn’t super close with Tim’s friends, so after a quick greeting with Tim, she didn’t stick around their VIP room.

Ashley danced with the rest of the Eternal crew for about half an hour, then came back to sit and chat with everyone.

She really did stand out.

After she sat down, people kept coming over, offering her drinks, but she turned them all down.

Most guys got the hint and left after she rejected them.

Ashley frowned.

Even though Chase hadn’t hung out with the Sterling Corp or Eternal crew since he arrived, he was actually in a private room upstairs.

His room had an insane view, practically the whole downstairs bar was visible.

Ashley really was stunning.

The two execs Chase was talking business with also noticed Ashley downstairs.

Naturally, they saw everything going down below.

One of them couldn’t help but comment,”Nice view downstairs.”

The other chuckled.”Lots of buzzkills too, and…”

He didn’t finish, but the implication was clear: shit was probably about to hit the fan downstairs.

After all, they all knew Mr. Bruce.

His family was pretty high-profile in Jorvik, definitely a name to reckon with.

And while Ashley’s crew had numbers, still…

Chase watched everything unfold downstairs, then gave Jackson a side-eye.

Jackson instantly got what Chase meant.

Back when Ashley was at Sterling Corp, Chase honestly didn’t really bother with her much.

But these past two years, Chase had been super doting on his and Ashley’s son. Jackson knew that even though Chase was prepping to divorce Ashley, he actually encouraged Sam to spend time with her.

Meaning, no matter how much Chase disliked Ashley, or how cold he usually was towards her, he might let her flirt with Tim all she wanted, but there was no way in hell he’d let some shady guys mess with the mother of his kid.

With that thought, Jackson gave a subtle nod and headed downstairs.
