Chapter 384.
About ten minutes later, Ashley went to the restroom with some other people.

She’d just pushed open the door and saw someone inside. She was about to apologize and step back when a hand clamped over her mouth and nose. She barely registered anything before her consciousness blurred in an instant.
The person who drugged Ashley quickly teamed up with the girl waiting outside. They did a quick disguise on Ashley, then rushed her out of the
restroom.
They managed to dodge the Eternal crew and finally made it out the main doors. Just as they were about to get Ashley into a car with the rest of their group, someone blocked their path.
Meanwhile.
Chase’s phone rang.
After hearing what was on the other end, he stood up and told the two CEOs next to him, “Something’s come up. Gotta bounce. We’ll catch up next
time.”
Jackson saw Chase leaving and followed him downstairs.
By the time they got outside the bar, the people who’d drugged Ashley were already under control.
Jackson froze when he saw Ashley, clearly unconscious.
But, looking at the scene, he quickly pieced together what had happened.
Still…
He had no idea when Chase had arranged for all of this to be intercepted.
The people waiting outside saw Chase arrive and stepped forward respectfully. “Mr. Sterling, we stopped them.”
“Got it.” Chase stared at Ashley, who was being held up, clearly passed out. He walked over, took her from the guys, scooped her into his arms, and without a word, turned and got into his car.
Jackson watched, paused, then quickly caught up, following Chase into the car.
Chase had barely gotten her settled when Ashley’s phone started ringing in her purse.
Turns out, it was the two Eternal engineers who’d gone to the restroom with Ashley. After a few minutes passed and she didn’t come out, they’d checked the entire restroom, couldn’t find her, and immediately tried to call her.
But Chase didn’t answer. He just held Ashley in his lap, adjusted her so she was comfortable, then hung up the incoming call.
When Ashley didn’t pick up, the two Eternal engineers grew even more worried. They immediately called Tim.
Tim got the news and frantically called Ashley himself. Only then did Chase finally answer.
Tim blurted out, “Ashley, are you”
Before Tim could even finish, Chase cut him off, “She passed out. I’m taking her back to the hotel now.”
Tim froze mid-step.”Chase?”
“Yeah. He said, then added,’Gotta go.”
“You”
But Chase didn’t say another word, hanging up quickly.
Jackson, in the passenger seat, kept an eye on the back.
He saw Chase still holding Ashley. Just as he was about to say something, the divider behind him slowly rose, blocking his view.
Jackson stared, frozen, not quite processing it for a while.
The bar wasn’t too far or too close to the hotel.
