His fingers slowly reached out, brushing lightly against her skin. Athena was leaning against him, looking exhausted, yet somehow managing to be incredibly alluring.

Marlon forced himself to look away, struggling with his own thoughts.

After Athena finished her shower, Marlon grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her without a word.

Back on the bed, Athena seemed on the brink of sleep, but Marlon was feeling far from relaxed. He watched her lying there, looking so innocent, and swallowed hard, feeling the sweat bead on his forehead.

His fingers traced a path from her waist to her chest, and every so often, Athena would glance up at him, a look that set him ablaze.

But she still had a fever.

Marlon leaned down and left a trail of kisses along her neck.

Athena couldn't help but let out a couple of soft sounds and then whispered, "Marlon, are we really engaged?"

Marlon froze, feeling like he'd been hit by a stun gun.

Athena's voice dropped lower, "It just feels like there's something very pure between us."

Marlon bit down on her neck, a little harder than he intended, making Athena yelp.

He chuckled mischievously, "You call this pure? By the end of tonight, you'll be covered in hickeys."

Athena blushed, turning her head away in embarrassment.

Marlon hadn't meant to go any further, but seeing her like this stirred something inside him.

His kisses moved lower.

Athena arched her back, clutching the sheets beneath her in confusion.

As Marlon kissed her, rebellious thoughts flickered through his mind, as if he might be punished for this, but with each mark he left, his rational thoughts disappeared. Tonight, he just wanted to do what he wanted, regardless of who she was.

Athena's fingers tangled in his hair as she gasped, "Marlon."

Her voice was weak, but it only added to the hazy atmosphere in the room.
