“Hey, Mommy, you’re back?” Keir exclaimed, suddenly wide awake.
Jove and Phaedra ran to Niamh, hugging her neck and covering her face with kisses.
“Go away, go away! Mommy is mine! Only mine!” Aurelia shrieked, trying to push them away.
“Okay, okay, Mommy is all yours, Aurelia,” Niamh said, sighing as she hugged her youngest daughter.
She then distributed the other phones. Apart from Aurelia, the other three were thrilled, especially Keir.
“Mommy, do you know? Everyone in my class has a phone except for me and Jove,” he said excitedly. “I’ve wanted one for so long! Thank you, Mommy!”
“You’re welcome,” Niamh said with a tired smile.
“Mommy, this is the latest Aether Communications model. It costs over one thousand dollars. Where did you get the money?” Jove asked, his brow furrowed in suspicion.
“Yeah, Mommy, where did you get the money?” Keir chimed in. Suddenly, his eyes widened. “Oh my god, Mommy! Did Mr. Bragg buy these? Is he trying to hit on you?”
“You little brat, what are you thinking?” Niamh smacked him lightly on the head. The boy was too smart for his own good.
“Mommy, where’s your phone? Did you get a new one too?” Keir asked seriously.
“Yes, I did.”
