I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 154

The moment the elevator doors opened, all hope vanished. There, standing outside the president’s office with their hands on their hips and chests puffed out, were her four children. Inside the office, thick smoke billowed out as the security chief, Colby, and another guard frantically tried to extinguish the flames.

Niamh was completely and utterly stunned.

“What the hell?” Jareth cursed, seeing the scene. He quickly propelled his wheelchair forward.

“You have a lot of nerve!” he roared at the four small figures. “You dare to bomb my office! Who put you up to this?!”

As he yelled, a wave of confusion washed over him. He felt like he’d seen these four little troublemakers somewhere before. The one on the left, with the little yellow braid, looked especially familiar.

At the sound of his voice, the four children turned in unison.

When Jareth saw their faces, his fury instantly evaporated, replaced by pure, unadulterated shock.

Four identical faces. Four faces that were the spitting image of himself as a boy. He couldn’t believe his eyes; he thought he must be hallucinating.

“Hello, Mr. Bragg,” Jove said, acting like a perfect gentleman despite the chaos.

Keir shot his brother a contemptuous look. “Seriously, Jove? You just blew up the man’s office, and you’re going to greet him politely?”

He then stomped forward and yelled, “Hey, Mr. Meanie! Consider today’s bomb a little welcome gift from us. Pretty great, right?”

Niamh stood frozen, trembling from head to toe. Mr. Bragg’s office was a complete wreck. Knowing his personality, he wouldn’t let them off easy, and he certainly wouldn’t let her off easy. She risked a glance at him. His eyes were wide, fixed on Jove in utter shock.

Just then, Keir marched up to Jareth’s wheelchair. “Mr. Bragg, today was just a small warning,” he said, his tone menacing. “If you ever bully my mommy again, I won’t just bomb your office. I’ll bomb this entire building, you hear me?”

Jareth tore his eyes away from Niamh and stared at Keir in disbelief.

Jove stepped forward as well, his expression serious. “Mr. Bragg, I hope you’ll be kinder to our mother. Don’t force my hand again. Otherwise, I’ll blow up your entire Bragg Group.”

“You big meanie! You bullied my mommy!” Aurelia cried, running over and starting to pound on Jareth’s chest with her tiny fists.

Niamh’s face went pale with terror. She rushed over and scooped Aurelia into her arms, then turned to Jareth. “I’m so sorry, Mr. Bragg. I-I had no idea they would do this!”
