**Chapter 53: Your Wife Sent It**
Carlos blinked in disbelief, his eyes widening in shock as the realization hit him.
“Mrs. Vaelor!!!” he exclaimed, the name escaping his lips like a gasp of air.
Relos, meanwhile, had already caught wind of the chaos unfolding on Starnet. The digital platform was ablaze with activity, a tempest of opinions and emotions swirling around the latest developments.

He could see the machinations of the Elder Council and Assembly clearly laid out before him, their intentions as transparent as glass. Without hesitation, he crafted a public statement, tagging the Supreme Prosecution Office for good measure. “We stand with the will of the people. Anyone who incites unlawful actions or infringes upon the personal liberties of another citizen will face consequences,” he declared, his voice firm and resolute.
With the Emperor himself now involved, Starnet erupted once more with activity.
Users flocked to vote, and to Relos’s relief, not a single soul supported the notion of unmasking the identity of the elusive Level-7 Plant Healer.
As he felt the crowd’s fervor begin to stabilize, he let out a breath he didn’t realize he had been holding. Just then, Agares entered the room, striding purposefully toward him.
“Agares,” Relos called out, his curiosity piqued. “Did you attend the Fifth Military Academy? Did you cross paths with your wife, Miralys?”
Agares responded with a crisp salute, his demeanor formal. “Your Majesty, the woman registered as my spouse is not Miralys. It is Sylvara Mordrel, the other daughter of the Mordrels.”
Relos’s expression shifted instantly, morphing into a tight mask of confusion and anger. “Not Miralys? But the Mordrels have only one daughter! Where did this Sylvara come from?”
Agares’s grip on the box he carried tightened, his knuckles whitening. “Your Majesty, the specifics of her identity are irrelevant. I plan to annul the marriage.”
Relos’s mind raced as he fought to regain his composure, adjusting his tone to something more rational. “You’ve met Sylvara then?”
It mattered little to him whether she hailed from nobility or the common folk—if she could stand by Agares’s side, he would have no objections.
Agares shook his head, his voice steady. “No, I haven’t. A Swarmborn host managed to slip past the Kolar frontline and into the inner star system. I pursued it and happened to encounter the Plant Healer’s fruit. My priority was identifying the healer, not meeting Sylvara.”
Good. If their paths had not crossed, then perhaps a divorce was unnecessary after all.
Relos exhaled a long, invisible sigh of relief. He shifted the conversation, eager to glean more information. “So, what you’re saying is that you discovered the Level-7 Plant Healer first, and everything that followed was a result of her realizing she had been exposed?”
