How many other things were this mother and her sons hiding from him…
…
Frustrated, Dylan went to the Shadow Club.
Thomas was already in the private room. Seeing Dylan enter, he asked, “What’s bothering you today?”
Dylan frowned, clearly not in the mood to talk.
Seeing this, Thomas didn't press the issue. He knew Dylan would talk when he was ready. So, the two of them started drinking.
After a few rounds,
Thomas glanced at his watch, figuring it was about time.
The door to the room opened, and a moment later, a familiar figure walked in.
It was Jonas. He had changed a lot in the time he’d been away.
He was thinner and tanner, but he looked much healthier than before. The only thing was, his blue hair was now dyed yellow.
Thomas smiled as soon as he saw him. “Jonas, why’d you dye your hair yellow?”
Jonas scoffed. “Yellow? This is gold, okay? What do you think? Cool, right?”
As he spoke, he struck what he thought was a handsome pose to show off his new look.
