Tyrus refused to let Piper come down from her orgasm until he was sure that we had branded ourselves into hers and Fallon’s souls. I’ve noticed lately that Piper no longer begs me to stop, telling me she can’t take anymore. Now, she gives herself to me and lets me fill her with my love.

And that’s what we did until both my wolf and I were satisfied that she knows that she’s ours.

“Goddess, I hope you never stop loving me like that,” she murmurs, her body still shivering and humming as | tuck her against my side.

“I promise I won’t,” I say, kissing the top of her head. “I want to talk about your plans, Piper. Your friends were talking about the competition for the elite squads. Zach gave me a look that made me think you might have had a conversation with him about your plans. What’s going on in that head of yours?” ask, running my hand up and down her back.

I know we both have a lot going on in our lives, but I’m not sure I could feel any more content than I do right now. I spent hours making love to my mate and now I’m lying with her in my arms as we talk. This is my idea of a perfect life.

She begins running her hand over my chest. “I honestly don’t know what I want anymore, Henry. I wasn’texpecting to feel so at home in your pack.”

“Our pack,” I correct her, kissing the top of her head again.

She looks up at me, smiling and I kiss her nose. “Even if you aren’t wearing my mark, even if you haven’t accepted your place as the pack’s Luna, it’s still our pack.”

“It feels like our pack,” she says, settling her head on my chest again. “For the first time in my life, I felt like belonged. I love it here at the Academy, but this was always temporary. OUR pack,” she says, and I feel her grin.

“That feels like home, a home that I want to live in and be part of. A place I look forward to returning to when I’ve been away. The idea of being a Luna always seemed boring to me. But with our pack members, I don’t think it will be boring at all. And, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a bit of an itch to have a little Henry running around,” she says, making me growl instantly.

She laughs.

“And don’t forget you promised me a little Piper too,” I say.

“I remember. You do realize I’m going to train her to become an elite fighter just like Kaylee and Kendra.”

“I’d be disappointed if you didn’t,” I say, thinking about how fun it will be to one day teach my own pups how to spar.

“I’m going to talk to Alpha Michael this week. He’s the one who is training us for the elite teams and he’s the one whowill choose which teams we’re eligible for, if he chooses us. I don’t want to walk away from the training I’ve worked so hard to achieve, but I feel like my priorities have changed since I met you. Does that disappoint you?” she asks, looking up at me again.

“I could never be disappointed in you. What would disappoint me, in general, is if you gave up your dreams because you thought that’s what I wanted. I want you to live your dreams. I want you to have everything in life that you’ve always wanted, Piper. That’s important. I don’t want you to ever look back on this time and wish that you’d done something differently or that you made choices because you were doing what you thought I wanted you to do, not what you wanted to do.”

I watch her eyes darken. “Do you know how fucking sexy it is that support me in achieving my dreams, Henry?” she asks, her hand sliding down my stomach and over my cock which quickly grows hard in her hand. “Do you know how much it makes me want you?”

“Henry, you saw the Academy cadets. My father and brother won’t be able to get to me,” she begins.
