Chapter 350
Chase said, “Want to go together then?”
At his words, Tanya immediately and instinctively started to decline, “I don’t…”
She wanted to say she wasn’t sure if she’d have time.
But then she realized that wouldn’t fit her usual demeanor, so before she even finished the ‘don’t,’ she quickly changed her mind. “Okay,” she said.
With that, just as she was about to sit on the couch, she happened to spot a document on Chase’s desk. Seeing the file name, she paused.
Noticing her gaze, Chase added, “The company’s interested in developing a new large model too, so this is a research report on Eternal’s programming language and two of their recent in-house projects. What they’ve put together is pretty interesting; they’ve really come up with something. You should be able to learn a lot from it.”
As Chase spoke, he handed her the file.
In the past, hearing Chase say that, Tanya would’ve been thrilled and eager to take it.
But now…
Her expression stiffened.
Chase had already offered it to her, so she just took it.”Alright,” she said.
After saying that, something occurred to her, and she couldn’t help but ask, “If we’re just starting to research Eternal now to create our own content, won’t we be too late by the time we actually develop it? I mean, technology is evolving way too fast these days…”
“That’s true,” Chase replied. “But studying it isn’t about copying Eternal’s content. It’s about extracting core technologies we can use and then innovating.”
“…Right,” she murmured.
Chase paused, then continued,”But Eternal itself is developing way too fast right now. And I believe some of their developments aren’t just fleeting trends. Take their programming language, for instance-it took several years for people to even notice it. Their recent independently developed projects, even with how fast technology is advancing, I think it would take other companies at least three years to develop something that could surpass them. So, researching it wouldn’t be meaningless.”
Chase’s words clearly showed his strong approval and admiration for Eternal’s two projects and their programming language.
Hearing this, Tanya’s heart slowly grew cold.
Chase really had a deep appreciation for talented people.
If he knew Ashley was the developer behind Eternal’s programming language.
Or perhaps…
Those two projects Eternal recently developed only came out after Ashley joined Eternal.
Which means, it’s highly probable Ashley led the development of those two projects too…
If, if Chase ever found out about all this…
Tanya thought of this and glanced sideways at Chase, who was already engrossed in his work. Her hand, gripping the files, gradually turned white. That evening, Tanya went back to the Mond family home for dinner.
At the dinner table, the Monds were chatting away animatedly.
Just then, news related to Eternal suddenly appeared on the TV.
Tanya paused and looked up, only to find the news was about Eternal and Kyle Edwards’ collaboration. It said Kyle Edwards had given an interview, expressing his satisfaction with the partnership, and mentioned that after his company partnered with Eternal, issues that had been plaguing them were quickly resolved. He added that many other similar companies overseas were now reaching out to Eternal…
