He told a staff member, “Pack up a portion of all the food here and send it to Mrs. Sterling.”

Tanya pursed her lips. Even though he said that, it didn’t mean anything. But… she disliked him calling Ashley ‘Mrs. Sterling” to the others; it was like an acknowledgement of their marriage. Then she realized that the staff member probably didn’t know Ashley’s name; if he hadn’t used “Mrs. Sterling,” they wouldn’t know who to send it to.

Upstairs, Ashley was hungry. When the doorbell rang, she thought it was her room service. She opened the door, letting them in with the food cart. They arranged the food, removing the lids and telling her about each dish.

Initially, everyone at the company had assumed Ashley and Tim were a couple.
