Billy just laughed, though he was already making a mental note of who’d called him stingy behind that fake enthusiasm.

Everyone seemed thrilled, especially about bringing their families. Suddenly, this team-building trip felt more like a free vacation than some boring work event.

“Billy, shouldn’t we keep this on the down low? If other departments find out, they’ll probably try to ruin it for us.”

Billy glanced over at Eleanor and grinned. “No worries. Mr. Clarkson already gave us the green light.”
